Quadricycle
The year of 1891 was when Henry Ford became an engineer. He worked in a compony called the Edison Illuminating company which was located in Detroit. Two years after he got a promotion to chief engineer which gave him enough time and money to devote attention to his personal experiments on internal combustion engines. Three years later these actions culminated when he made a self propelled quadricycle. The cycle had four wired wheels, was steered with a tilter like a boat and had two forward speeds with no reverse. Even though Henry Ford was not the first to build a self propelled gasoline engine he is one of the people who made our country famous for vehicles.
